Competencias evidenciadas en las prácticas preprofesionales realizadas en una entidad bancaria en Lima como parte de los estudios de pregrado en Psicología

Resumen
Este informe describe las actividades realizadas y los aprendizajes obtenidos durante
las prácticas preprofesionales en una institución bancaria de Lima por el periodo de nueve
meses, en los cuales se evidenció el dominio de competencias como el diagnóstico, la
intervención y la evaluación. De este modo, como parte del diagnóstico, primero se realizó
una evaluación de necesidades, en la cual se levantó información del estado en el que se
encontraba el proceso de reclutamiento y selección, para posteriormente contrastarla con el
proceso que se deseaba implementar de acuerdo a los diversos autores. El diagnóstico
realizado reveló la necesidad de instaurar nuevas fuentes de reclutamiento para tener un mayor
alcance en la población y modificar la evaluación asincrónica por entrevistas por
competencias y assessment centers, lo cual fue implementado como parte de la intervención.
Finalmente, para la competencia evalúa, se creó una rúbrica de calificación para sistematizar
los conceptos a evaluar, de tal modo que se pueda alcanzar una mayor objetividad.
This report describes the activities carried out and the achievements obtained during the internship in a banking institution located in Lima for a nine months period, whereby it was evidenced diagnostic, intervention and assessment competences’ mastery. Thus, regarding diagnostic competence, at the beginning, a needs assessment was executed through which information about the current situation about recruitment and selection process at the back was collected so later it was compared with the process as proposed by some authors. This diagnostic allowed to demonstrate the need to stablish new recruitment sources, this way the scope in the target population can increased. Also, it revealed the need to change asynchronous test for competency-based interviews and assessment centers, which were implemented as an intervention. Finally, related to evaluate competence, it was created a scoring guide to methodize those concepts which were assessed; therefore, a higher objectivity was reached.
