Abstract
This is a study - from the Freudian thought - of paternal representations in the work Todas las Sangres. We also note the limits of some Freudian conceptions in their ability to account for the complexity of phenomena inside of a fragmented and violent society. An alternative is drawn in utopian terms. We call "utopia" – non Freudian concept – to the project and to the integrative dynamics of such society that has to do with the self-ideal of the collective psyche, Freudian concepts that are related to parental representation. In pursuing this paternal representation, the study of this work leads us to think sociocultural dynamics in terms of pulsional explosion rather than of "upset", the price of social coexistence according to the Freudian thought.
