Abstract
La presente investigación se enfoca en el tema del estrés laboral docente de
educación primaria durante el período de pandemia, realizando un diagnóstico
de los hechos a través de sus percepciones como principal intermediario dentro
del desarrollo de sus actividades cotidianas.
El objetivo general es analizar las percepciones de los docentes de educación
primaria de una institución educativa privada respecto a su estrés laboral
durante la pandemia. Los objetivos específicos que se presentan a continuación
son: i) Describir las principales causas que generan estrés en los docentes de
educación primaria de una institución privada de Lima durante la pandemia en
el 2021; y ii) Identificar los mecanismos de afrontamiento de actividades
estresantes en docentes de educación primaria de una institución privada de
Lima durante la pandemia en 2021.
Esta investigación es un estudio cualitativo que busca la comprensión,
descripción y explicación a partir de las experiencias de los sujetos de estudio
en su práctica diaria. Se emplea el método de corte fenomenológico para
abordar el fenómeno de estudio desde una realidad concreta contada desde el
sujeto de estudio, analizando las percepciones de docentes de educación
primaria de una institución educativa privada ubicada en el distrito de Santiago
de Surco. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista, y el instrumento fue el guión de
entrevistas en profundidad. La información de los testimonios recogidos se
organizó en Excel a través de Open Coding, y las respuestas se clasificaron
según subcategorías y palabras clave para interpretarlas.
Entre los resultados obtenidos, se evidencia que los docentes de primaria
experimentaron estrés laboral por problemas familiares, de salud física y mental,
clima laboral y cuestiones personales en sus actividades virtuales diarias
durante la pandemia. Además, la variedad de mecanismos de afrontamiento
utilizados por los docentes dependerá de las características, gustos y
preferencias de cada informante.
This research focuses on the issue of primary school teacher work stress during the pandemic period, making a diagnosis of the facts through their perceptions as the main intermediary in the development of their daily activities. The general objective is to analyze the perceptions of primary school teachers from a private educational institution regarding their work stress during the pandemic. The specific objectives that are presented below are: i) Describe the main causes that generate stress in primary education teachers of a private institution in Lima during the pandemic in 2021; and ii) Identify the coping mechanisms of stressful activities in primary education teachers of a private institution in Lima during the pandemic in 2021. This research is a qualitative study that seeks understanding, description and explanation from the experiences of the study subjects in their daily practice. The phenomenological cutting method is used to address the study phenomenon from a concrete reality told from the subject of study, analyzing the perceptions of primary education teachers from a private educational institution located in the district of Santiago de Surco. The technique used was the interview, and the instrument was the in-depth interview script. The information from the collected testimonials was organized in Excel through Open Coding, and the answers were classified according to subcategories and keywords to interpret them. Among the results obtained, it is evident that primary school teachers experienced work stress due to family problems, physical and mental health, work environment and personal issues in their daily virtual activities during the pandemic. In addition, the variety of coping mechanisms used by teachers will depend on the characteristics, tastes, and preferences of each informant.
