The main objective of this research is to analyze the influence of the application of Slow Tourism on the tourism experiences of undergraduate students at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), with a particular focus on those enrolled in the Faculty of Gastronomy, Hotel Management and Tourism (GHOT). To this end, the fundamental principles of Slow Tourism will be explained, and a pilot experience will be implemented to assess its impact on the overall satisfaction of students. This study aims to contribute to the extant academic research in the country on Slow Tourism, since there is currently no literature available on the subject. Additionally, it will facilitate the understanding of the profile of centennial students, a generation that has gained prominence in recent years in the tourism field. For the analysis, questionnaires are administered to students to ascertain their profile and design a slow experience adapted to their sociodemographic characteristics and lifestyles, aligning them with the principles of Slow Tourism. The collection and analysis of the surveys help construct the profile of the GHOT student, belonging to the centennial generation. The analysis of secondary sources and the implementation of this pilot experience, with the support of the public sector, yielded valuable insights into the influence of less massive tourism on an accelerated generation, as well as the perceptions of the participants regarding the valuation of the experience.
