Going to university is much more complex than just facing the academic challenges it proposes. This is what the short film called "El corto final" proposes, since it gathers the experiences of three audiovisual communication students who are forced to make together the final work of their career and, at the same time, deal with family, health or internal problems. The intention of this short film is to explore these other aspects of university students. The financial difficulties involved in paying for college, health problems that do not allow them to develop normally, the struggle against shyness and thus show how this influences the relationship of three young people who must make a short film. It can be argued that "El corto final" is a tribute to university life and, in particular, to the audiovisual communication career. The authors of the short film use the mockumentary format, as it is a tool that allows to generate moments with a greater closeness with the viewers, since the characters can talk about their actions and emotions fostered by situations that the viewer has been able to see recently. By being able to speak in front of the camera, the characters speak to the viewer, and this involves the latter in the story. Likewise, this tool also allows the use of moments of comedy and drama, which are precisely the genres that predominate in this short film.
