In Chapter 1, COMM is presented as an outsourcing company specializing in the mining sector with a significant potential for expansion in the Industrial Sector. It analyzes its participation in the mining industry, considering both external and internal factors that influence its performance and competitiveness, highlighting the cross-factor matrix IFE/EFE study. In Chapter 2, describes the methodologies adopted for this study, such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup, and then diagnoses the main problems facing COMM. After gathering information about the company through interviews and various documents, a complexity versus benefit matrix is developed for each problem area to identify the main problem or problems affecting the company's operations. In Chapter 3, delves into the identification of the causes underlying the main problem. A framework is established to understand the interrelationships between the different factors that impact COMM's operational efficiency. A prioritization matrix is developed for each root cause. In Chapter 4, a variety of alternatives are presented to address the identified problems and their root causes. A Roadmap is developed that prioritizes the chronological execution of each proposed solution, ensuring that an integrated approach is taken without ruling out any relevant options. In Chapter 5, the Balanced Scorecard is developed, which serves as a tool to align the company's strategy with its performance. A detailed implementation plan is included along with the corresponding budget for the top roadmap priority, ensuring a clear focus on the effective execution of the strategies. In Chapter 6, examines the expected results of the implementation plan, complemented by a financial evaluation that considers resources such as consulting costs and income statement projections. Economic and financial cash flows are analyzed, using key indicators such as the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV) to assess the project's viability. In Chapter 7, presents the study's findings, along with strategic recommendations that reinforce the viability of the proposed consulting plan for COMM. These recommendations are designed to ensure sustainable growth and continuous improvement in the company's performance.
