Abstract
replicable a nivel nacional.
The present study aims to analyse the incidence of the Franciscan ethical proposal in the students from the last three years of high school from the Santa María de Jesús School located in the district of Comas, as a case study. This research has been based on two instruments, that are the basis of the educational policy: the National Curriculum (known in Spanish as CN) and Institutional Educational Project (known in Spanish as PEI). The research problem arises from the fact that many educational institutions face a crisis of values that our current Peruvian society deals with and that it affects our ways of living. Given this, there are diverse educational proposals that point to new ethics and new ways of learning or relearning our human condition. The Franciscan axiology contributes in a positive way because it proposes the construction of a global ethic and an integrative humanism, that can add value to society. In this sense, the study seeks to assess whether the Franciscan curricular adaptation effectively addresses education in values and whether, in the future, it can be replicable at a national level. As part of this study, quantitative and qualitative techniques were applied in order to understand the elements and/or key factors for which this axiological proposal would stand out. For this, the main actors were analysed during the process of value formation. In this case, it is taught by the principal, the pastoral leader, the tutors and, continuously, by the parents. Likewise, to corroborate the incidence of the Franciscan proposal, information was obtained on the perception of the values of each actor involved. On the other hand, the teaching-learning process of values in academic and extracurricular spaces was analysed. In addition, the application or implementation of the same was investigated in the school day. Finally, the research gives account on the findings found on the Franciscan proposal regarding education in values. This includes gaps and strengths that express the adaptation of a national educational policy and its application within specific educational management.
