Abstract
El presente estudio se propuso hallar la correlación entre la Claridad del autoconcepto, la Autoestima y el Bienestar Psicológico de 128 adolescentes en zonas urbano-marginales, y su relación con distintos factores sociodemográficos. Los resultados mostraron que únicamente en el grupo de mujeres la Autoestima se relacionó significativamente con el Bienestar Psicológico total y sus dimensiones, y que ésta sostuvo la relación hallada entre Claridad del autoconcepto y Bienestar Psicológico. Además, se halló una correlación significativa entre Claridad del autoconcepto y Autoestima, las mujeres puntuaron significativamente más alto que los hombres en la dimensión de Proyectos personales y también se obtuvieron correlaciones significativas entre Claridad del autoconcepto y grado.
This research aimed to study the relationship between Self-concept clarity, Self-esteem and Psychological well-being of 128 adolescents from urban-marginal areas, and their relationship to other socio demographic aspects. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between Self-Esteem and Psychological well-being only in women, and that this relationship maintained the association between Self-concept clarity and Psychological well-being. Moreover, Self-concept clarity and Self-esteem correlated significantly, women scored significantly higher than men in the Personal projects dimension and there were significant correlations between Self-concept clarity and grade.
