del ASOCEM en el Perú durante el 2020 al 2021 respecto del 2017 al 2019;
The main objective of the research was to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the financial and economic situation of ASOCEM member companies in Peru during 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019. The secondary objectives are mentioned below: first, to analyze the impact of COVID-19 in the liquidity ratios of ASOCEM member companies in Peru during 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019; second, to analyze the impact of COVID- 19 on the solvency ratios of ASOCEM member companies in Peru during 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019; Third, to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the profitability ratios of ASOCEM member companies in Peru during 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019. The impact of COVID-19 on the financial and economic situation was investigated through a nonexperimental descriptive design of ASOCEM member companies in Peru during the period 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019. The sample consisted of the study population, which includes 60 financial statements, 4 for each of the 3 companies that constitute ASOCEM and for 5 years of study. The instruments used were documentary analysis sheets created in spreadsheets, and the results were processed in the SPSS software (version 26) (IBM Corp. 2019). The results indicate that COVID-19 does not have a significant impact on the financial and economic situation of the companies studied or on each of its elements; that is, liquidity and solvency in the financial situation; and profitability in the economic situation, of companies during 2020 to 2021 compared to 2017 to 2019.
