Abstract
The main claim of this research is analyze and compare the association between Political Ideology (Right-Wing Authoritarianism, Social Dominance Orientation and Right Wing Political Orientation) and Inequality Justification (economic, social, educational, legal and ethnic inequality) across two groups which has been named: “socially advantaged group” and “socially disadvantaged group” in Lima City. The analysis of the results shows that the “socially advantaged group” justifies inequality more than “socially advantaged group”. Regarding the relationship of the two groups of variables the results evidence that Social Dominance Orientation predicts Inequality Justification better than the other variables. Furthermore another interesting finding is that the “socially disadvantage group” seems to show a different ideological organization in terms of the theory proposed by Political Conservatism, while the “socially advantage group” shows an ideological organization more aligned to the theory. Keywords: Political ideology, right-wing authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, right wing political orientation, inequality justification.
