Parish centers are an important structure of churches, since they provide a service on behalf of the religious community that can be visited by believers and non-believers, thus maintaining a presence in the community. Since, even when they promote religious values, they also promote the cultural and social aspect that can be used by various people in a community. The San Felipe Apóstol Parish Center is taken as a case study, due to its relationship with the San Felipe Apóstol Church and because it has a community that makes use of its facilities. Thus, the opportunity is seen to design a Neighborhood Activation Center to improve the quality of the building’s space and its relationship with the church. For this, the complex of the San Felipe Apóstol Church is studied, which is part of the work of architect Paul Linder and constitutes a legacy of architectural value. From the analysis of this building, the strategies that will be used to design the project are based on densifying the lot, connecting with the internal street and reinterpreting the structure of the church. The project consists of two buildings, a tower that houses the recreational program and a bar that houses the educational program. Finally, this intervention improves the church’s social services building and creates a space for community relations.
