acarreo.
The objective of this thesis is to improve the loading and hauling processes in a mining company. Starting from the need to increase productivity in this company, an exhaustive analysis of the equipment fleet was carried out. Applied quantitative, descriptive approach with observational and transversal design, allows providing valuable recommendations for the operational efficiency of the company. The results achieved show that a modification in the blasting schedule, moving it forward from 12:00 p.m. by 6:00 a.m., can generate a significant increase in production, estimating an increase of 10%. The main problem is knowing how production can be increased in the hauling fleet by changing the blasting schedule in the company. With this, we sought to identify the impact that an advance in the blasting schedule would have on the efficiency of loading and transportation operations of mineral, since this will mean a special impact on the modification of blasting times, without ruling out other variables, such as improving preventive and execution of fleet management systems. Optimizing blasting schedules at the mine can have a positive impact on the plant's overall productivity. The analyzes reveal that downtime during hauling, especially those related to material transfers, account for a loss of more than 10% of tonnage in the hours between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Therefore, modifying this time interval is presented as a viable strategy to improve the efficiency of the hauling fleet.
