Resumen
Esta investigación desarrolla un modelo de madurez holística para asegurar la calidad y la
innovación en las universidades peruanas. Se abordan dimensiones clave como el gobierno
favorable, el talento universitario, los recursos sustanciales y los resultados. A partir de una
revisión sistemática de la literatura, se identificaron los vacíos de los modelos de madurez
utilizados en el campo de la educación superior universitaria. Estos hallazgos sentaron las
bases para el diseño del modelo, en el que se utilizaron metodologías como Design Science
Research, el marco de trabajo de Mettler y el método Delphi para obtener la opinión de
expertos. Se aplicó el coeficiente V de Aiken para validar el contenido del instrumento,
analizando su claridad, relevancia y coherencia. Esto garantizó su confiabilidad. El modelo
propone prácticas concretas para cada nivel de madurez, lo que facilita la implementación
de mejoras de manera progresiva en diversos contextos universitarios. Contribuye a la
Educación 4.0 al alinear estratégicamente las tecnologías de la información con los objetivos
educativos, promoviendo métodos de enseñanza personalizados y modelos de aprendizaje
híbridos. Además, integra el enfoque de la Sociedad 5.0, enfatizando el impacto social y la
sostenibilidad medioambiental a través de la responsabilidad social universitaria, fomentando
el desarrollo humano y tecnológico. Finalmente, esta propuesta ofrece un marco práctico
para la toma de decisiones en la gestión universitaria y las políticas educativas, con posibles
aplicaciones tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
This research develops a holistic maturity model to ensure quality and innovation in Peruvian universities. It addresses key dimensions such as favorable governance, university talent, substantial resources and results. Based on a systematic review of the literature, gaps in the maturity models used in the field of university higher education were identified. These findings laid the foundation for the design of the model, in which methodologies such as Design Science Research, Mettler’s framework and the Delphi method were used to obtain expert opinion. Aiken’s V coefficient was applied to validate the content of the instrument, analyzing its clarity, relevance and coherence. This ensured its reliability. The model proposes concrete practices for each maturity level, which facilitates the implementation of improve- ments in a progressive manner in various university contexts. It contributes to Education 4.0 by strategically aligning information technologies with educational objectives, promoting personalized teaching methods and hybrid learning models. Furthermore, it integrates the Society 5.0 approach, emphasizing social impact and environmental sustainability through university social responsibility, fostering human and technological development. Finally, this proposal offers a practical framework for decision making in university management and educational policies, with possible applications at both national and international levels.
