Planeamiento estratégico de la Provincia del Manu -Madre de Dios

Abstract

El presente trabajo desarrolla el Plan Estratégico de la Provincia del Manu de la región Madre de Dios, enfocándose en el desarrollo responsable de la minería, la agricultura y la investigación de los beneficios de la biodiversidad, como motor del desarrollo de la Provincia. De esta manera, se busca lograr el bienestar de la población de la provincia a través de la promoción de estas tres actividades, que tienen un alto potencial de crecimiento. Para llegar a dicha visión, para el presente Plan se realizó un análisis de la provincia que permitió conocer su situación actual e identificar sus fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas, para plantear estrategias que permitan lograr el desarrollo del Manu y el bienestar general de su sociedad. Con la implementación de este Plan Estratégico del Manu al año 2028, la provincia habrá logrado reducir en un 70% la minería aurífera informal e ilegal, será la principal productora de oro ecosostenible del país, con el uso de plantas portátiles gravimétricas, y habrá logrado tener una agricultura competitiva que aporte al 9% del PBI de la zona y que esté en capacidad de cubrir la demanda interna y externa de dichos productos. Por último, habrá logrado implementar una investigación académica y científica que tenga como enfoque descubrir aquellos principios activos de la fauna y flora del Manu, que permitan la generación de nuevos negocios ecosostenibles con valor agregado para la provincia

This thesis develops the Strategic Plan of the Manu Province of Madre de Dios Region, focusing on the responsible development of mining, agriculture and the research of the Manu biodiversity benefits as a motor for the development of the Province. In that sense, the thesis seeks to achieve the welfare of the population of the Province through these three activities that have a high growth potential. To achieve this vision, a study of the Province has been carried out in this Plan. This has enabled us to know the current situation of the Province and to identify its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, in order to propose appropriate strategies to achieve the Province's development and the general welfare of its population. Consequently, once the Manu Strategic Plan has been implemented by the year 2028, the Manu Province will have reduced in 70% the informal and illegal gold mining, will be the main producer of eco-sustainable gold in the country with the use of portable gravimetric equipment, will have a competitive agriculture commerce which will contribute with the 9% of the PBI of the area and will be able to cover the internal and external demand of these products and, finally, will have succeeded in implementing academic and scientific research focused on discover the benefits of Manu´s fauna and flora to promote the generation of new eco-sustainable businesses with added value for the Province
