Abstract
There is no doubt that writing is a necessary and present aspect of our daily life. Moreover, we constantly use written language to interact with other people in society. For this reason, in primary classrooms, teachers are concerned with incorporating various strategies for teaching this written language, which sometimes do not obtain the desired result evidencing in the low-quality writings that students build. In this line, considering the context in which students develop, which is characterized by the use of ICT and also, recognizing that it will be evident that these same students will be incorporated into a society that makes use of technology to communicate Written way we consider that the collaborative writing strategy will benefit all these students helping them to build better quality texts. Even considering that the narrative texts are the most studied in primary school, we believe that the strategy in question must be applied to this textual genre because it also has multiple advantages. Therefore, the present investigation seeks to answer the question: ¿How can collaborative writing improve the written production of narrative texts of primary school children? The investigation consists of two chapters. The first, to refer to the context in which the aforementioned writing strategy can be applied, which is during the practice of written language in the construction of narrative texts; and the second chapter, seeks to address the specific writing strategy from the general aspects referred to collaborative work to understand how this type of work influences the success of the strategy.
