Los beneficios del uso de los recursos educativos abiertos en la práctica docente

Abstract
(REA) en la educación, cuyo objetivo es identificar los beneficios que ofrece la
implementación de estos recursos, facilitados por las Tecnologías de la Información
y Comunicación (TIC), en la práctica docente. Esta investigación es relevante porque
permite reconocer la influencia de las nuevas tecnologías en los diferentes campos
de la educación, en una era digital que exige formas diferentes de enseñar y
aprender. Esta investigación se construye sobre la revisión de textos académicos
especializados como artículos, guías, informes, tesis, congresos, entre otros. El
cuerpo del trabajo se estructura en dos apartados, los cuales abordan los beneficios
a los docentes y estudiantes en el uso de los REA. El primer apartado fundamenta
los beneficios en el quehacer docente como la planificación, la adaptación de
recursos, involucramiento en comunidades de aprendizaje, así como la adquisición
de competencias digitales docentes. En torno al segundo apartado, se argumenta
cómo el uso de los REA favorece en los estudiantes la motivación por aprender, la
construcción de los aprendizajes, así como el desarrollo de competencias digitales
ciudadanas. Para finalizar, las reflexiones del estado del arte manifiestan una
preocupación por aspectos que no han sido cubiertos en las investigaciones
consultadas, ante ello se brinda recomendaciones para la formación docente.
Asimismo, se resalta la relevancia de los REA en las experiencias de docentes en
ejercicio como en formación en el marco de la emergencia sanitaria por el
coronavirus COVID-19.
This study is a state of the art about the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) in education, whose objective is to identify the benefits offered by the implementation of these resources, facilitated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in teaching practice. This research is relevant because it allows recognizing the influence of new technologies in the different fields of education, in a digital era which demands different ways of teaching and learning. This research is built on the review of specialized academic texts such as articles, guides, reports, theses, conferences, among others. The body of this study is structured in two sections, which address the benefits to teacher and students in the use of OER. The first section supports the benefits in the teaching task as planning, adaptation of resources, involvement in learning communities, as well as the acquisition of digital teaching skills. The second section argues how the use of OER favors students’ motivation to learn, the construction of learning, as well as the development of digital citizenship competencies. Finally, the reflections of the state of the art show a concern for aspects that have not been covered by the researches consulted, and recommendations for teacher training are provided. Likewise, the relevance of OER in the experiences of practicing teachers and in training in the framework of the health emergency due to the COVID-19 coronavirus is highlighted.
