Abstract
Un tópico bastante estudiando en el Perú ha sido la diversificación productiva y
cuáles son sus determinantes, así como también la relación que guarda con la
tasa de crecimiento económico. Sin embargo, estos estudios han estado
enfocados en factores macroeconómicos. Poca o casi nula atención se ha
prestado a que factores al interior de una empresa influyen para que una
empresa pase de ofertar un bien o servicio a más de uno. Así, en este estudio,
se hace un análisis microeconómico para explicar cuáles son los determinantes
de la diversificación productiva en las empresas peruanas. Para ello se hace uso
de los datos obtenidos de la Encuesta Económica Anual de Empresas
2018(Sector Manufactura-ejercicio 2017) del INEI y se plantean varios modelos
para entender que determina que una empresa se diversifique.

For this, we use the data obtained from the Annual Economic Survey of Companies 2018 (Manufacturing Sector- accounting year 20172017) of the INEI and several models are proposed to understand what determines that a company diversifies.
