Abstract
otras mujeres.
Gender inequalities in family spaces are a continuous pending problem that has not been resolved, since there are still gender roles and stereotypes that limit the empowerment of women. In this case, this research focuses on the gender approach and its importance in women’s empowerment. To determine this research, a diagnosis of ethnographic methodology with a qualitative approach was carried out, related to the women entrepreneurs’ perception about the gender approach. The results of the diagnosis showed that the women entrepreneurs were still unaware of the gender approach and did not take in consideration the equal practices in their personal, family or work environment. In this manner, a communication development initiative was designed called “EmpoderadaS" which seeks to promote the importance of equal practices related to the gender approach in women entrepreneurs from Pachacamac and Lurin. In this aspect, we aim the beneficiaries to become agents of change and sources of inspiration to other women.
