La falta de repertorio popular folclórico latinoamericano como requisito en el curso de instrumento y las repercusiones en el desarrollo de la enseñanza musical profesional en el área clásica en el Perú

Abstract
El presente trabajo parte desde la situación del folclor latinoamericano como repertorio que,
en la carrera de música del área clásica en el Perú, y de forma más específica, en el curso de
instrumento, rara vez está presente. Se busca explicar de qué manera esta falta del repertorio
popular folclórico latinoamericano como requisito en el curso de instrumento, influye dentro del
desarrollo de la enseñanza musical profesional en el área clásica en el Perú. A partir de esto, se
plantea que esta ausencia del repertorio popular folclórico latinoamericano, impide que el alumno
reciba una educación coherente con el contexto en el que crece, al cual ha estado expuesto durante
toda su vida y dónde terminará intentando desarrollarse profesionalmente. A su vez, esta carencia,
obstruye la preservación del folclore latinoamericano, lo que responde a una responsabilidad por
difundir y estudiar la cultura propia en nuestro país, frente a la cultura europea que, actualmente,
se ve perpetuada en nuestro sistema educativo musical; lo que, a su vez, termina afectando a la
autoconstrucción identitaria del músico como artista. Para esto se analizarán las características
pedagógicas del curso de instrumento y su aproximación al repertorio de folclore popular
latinoamericano, partiendo desde la situación actual de la educación en el Perú, la cual aún obedece
casi plenamente al canon musical europeo académico.
The present work starts from the situation of Latin American folklore as a repertoire that, in the music career of the classical area in Peru, and more specifically, in the instrument course, is rarely present. It seeks to explain how this lack of the popular Latin American folk repertoire as a requirement in the instrument course, influences the development of professional musical education in the classical area in Peru. Based on this, it is suggested that this absence of the Latin American popular folk repertoire prevents the student from receiving an education consistent with the context in which he grows up, to which he has been exposed throughout his life and where he will end up trying to develop professionally. In turn, this lack obstructs the preservation of Latin American folklore, which responds to a responsibility to disseminate and study our own culture in our country, compared to the European culture that, currently, is perpetuated in our musical educational system; which, in turn, ends up affecting the identity of the musician as an artist. For this, the pedagogical characteristics of the instrument course and its approach to the repertoire of Latin American popular folklore will be analyzed, starting from the current situation of education in Peru, which still almost fully obeys the academic European musical canon.
