Investigación y propuesta de campaña publicitaria para el seguro vehicular “Pago por Kilómetros” de Rimac Seguros

Abstract
El siguiente proyecto tiene como fin presentar una campaña de relanzamiento para el
Seguro Pago por Kilómetros de Rimac. El objetivo principal es dar a conocer los
beneficios del seguro a través de una campaña orientada, principalmente, al awareness,
con la finalidad de dar a conocer el producto para que, en un mediano plazo, aumente
la venta de pólizas. A partir del brief proporcionado por el cliente, se realizó una
investigación de índole cualitativa, tomando en cuenta la coyuntura, los consumidores y
el mercado de seguros vehiculares. Se utilizaron distintas herramientas de recojo de
información: encuestas, entrevistas a profundidad, análisis de contenido en las redes
sociales de Rimac y un focus group. Los datos obtenidos a partir de estas y la
recopilación de fuentes teóricas, sirvieron, en primer lugar, para ampliar el público
objetivo y, en segundo lugar, para desarrollar una estrategia de comunicación creativa
basada en el concepto paraguas “adaptabilidad”. De esta manera, se crea la campaña
“Tú te adaptas, Rimac se adapta a ti”; en la que se busca resaltar que Rimac entiende
las nuevas necesidades y prioridades de sus clientes. Esto, a través de un storytelling
potente que conecta al público con la campaña por medio de situaciones cotidianas que
remiten a la “nueva normalidad”. Se espera que el nuevo público conozca el seguro a
través de la TV y los medios digitales seleccionados, demuestre interés e interactúe con
las piezas publicitarias propuestas.
The purpose of the following project is to present a relaunch campaign for Rimac’s “Pago por Kilómetros” insurance. The main objective is to promote its benefits through an awareness-oriented campaign, in order to publicize the product so that, in the medium term, the sales increase. Based on the brief provided by the client, a qualitative investigation was carried out, taking in consideration the current situation, the consumers and the vehicle insurance market. Different research tools were used: surveys, interviews, content analysis on Rimac's social media and a focus group. The data obtained from these and the compilation of theoretical sources were used, firstly, to broaden the target audience and, secondly, to develop a creative communication strategy based on the umbrella concept “adaptability”. That’s how the “Tú te adaptas, Rimac se adapta a ti” campaign is created; in order to highlight that Rimac understands the new needs and priorities of its customers. This is done through a powerful storytelling that connects the public with the campaign through everyday situations that refer to the “new normality”. Is expected that the new audience learn about the insurance through TV and digital media, show interest, and interact with the proposed advertising pieces.
