Transición arquitectónica en Lima de Siglo XX : Correspondencia física en la transición estilística de la arquitectura de Enrique Seoane 1930-1950

Abstract
Durante la primera mitad del Siglo XX, se desarrollaron varios estilos arquitectónicos, entre
los cuales destacaron el neocolonial y neoperuano como una búsqueda de identidad
nacional. Posteriormente se desarrolló la transición hacia la modernidad, la cual se
consolidó en Lima en la década de 1950. Uno de los principales arquitectos que desarrolló
proyectos de transición fue Enrique Seoane. Se analizó tres de sus edificios para determinar
el grado de correspondencia física y los principales cambios en la transición arquitectónica.
During the first half of the twentieth century, various architectural styles developed, among which the neocolonial and neoperuano stood out as search for national identity. Later, the transition to modernity developed, which was consolidated in Lima in the 1950’s. One of the main architects who developed transition projects was Enrique Seoane. Three of its buildings were analyzed to determine the level of physical correspondence and the main changes in the architectural transition.
