Abstract
The present research has as object of study the development of attention in the preschool education level. It seeks in particular, to know the type of didactic strategies that the initial education teacher can use for the development of attention in boys and girls between 3 and 5 years old. Teaching strategies give us the possibility to choose what activities and resources we can use to achieve certain educational objectives. It is for this reason that we propose a variety of didactic strategies to promote attention from a playful approach based on the integral development of the student. It is a State of the Art, that is, a documentary study, while sources of various kinds such as books, magazine articles and theses are analyzed. The work is structured in two thematic nuclei: the first seeks to conceptualize what we understand by attention, what is its importance, how it works and what types of attention exist. The second delves into the concept of didactic strategies and presents a variety of them, aimed at promoting the care of boys and girls between 3 and 5 years old; Likewise, it explains the role of the teacher and the students in relation to these strategies. The report of this research consists of providing the teacher with a repertoire of strategies, to benefit the student's attention process and enhance their learning, offering the possibility of adapting them according to the needs and characteristics of the students.
