Análisis de la estructura de financiamiento de las empresas del sector azucarero supervisadas por la SMV en el periodo 2016 – 2019

Abstract

El presente Plan de Tesis busca demostrar que las decisiones de financiamiento contribuyen en forma eficiente en la gestión financiera de las empresas azucareras supervisadas por la SMV en el periodo 2016 al 2019. La importancia de la investigación gira en que la caña de azúcar aporta al PBI agrícola en gran medida, por lo tanto, el sector azucarero genera impacto positivo en el crecimiento en la economía peruana. Asimismo, es importante resaltar que dicho sector se encuentra expuesto a diversos riesgos de mercado, por ende, es relevante analizar las decisiones de financiamiento por las cuales se optaron para mitigar dichos riesgos. En este sentido, primero se busca determinar los riesgos de mercado que se presentaron en el sector azucarero tanto social, económico y climático, para luego analizar si las decisiones de financiamiento por las cuales se optaron contribuyeron eficientemente a la gestión financiera en las empresas azucareras supervisadas por SMV, en el periodo de estudio. La metodología consiste en un enfoque cualitativo, debido a que, en la presente investigación se realizará el análisis financiero para determinar el comportamiento referente a las decisiones de financiamiento. Por lo detallado, la hipótesis de esta investigación es que las decisiones de financiamiento adoptadas por las empresas del sector azucarero supervisadas por la SMV en el periodo 2016 al 2019, contribuyen en forma eficiente con su gestión financiera.The following thesis plan attempts to demonstrate that financing decisions contribute efficiently to financial management of sugar companies supervised by the SMV between 2016 and 2019. The importance of this research is based on the fact that sugarcane contributes largely to the agricultural GDP. For this reason, the sugar industry generates a positive impact on the Peruvian economy’s growth. Likewise, it is important to realize that this sector is exposed to various market risks. For this reason, analyzing financial decisions that valued mitigating those risks is relevant. In this perspective, we will first attempt to determine the market risks that arose in the sugar industry, whether they may be social, economic, or climatic, to later analyze if the financial decisions that were made contributed efficiently to the financial management of sugar companies by the SMV during the period of this study. The methodology used consists of a qualitative approach, since in this research the financial analysis will be made to determine the behavior related to financing decisions. Specifically, the hypothesis of this research is that the financing decisions made by companies in the sugar industry supervised by the SMV between 2016 and 2019 contribute efficiently to their financial management.
