Abstract
No obstante,
During the Internal Armed Conflict (CAI), the Peruvian Armed Forces (FFAA) played an important role in the control and spread of various types of violence. However, after several decades, various versions persist about what the role of the Armed Forces was, especially by the non-commissioned officers of the Peruvian Navy. In this sense, the objective of this study is to know about the collective memories of the personnel of non-commissioned officers of the MGP, as well as the emotions and attitudes they have in relation to the CAI. All this, with the purpose of analyzing the relationship between the collective memory of the CAI, the attitudes towards forgiveness, reparation and reconciliation, and the reparative emotions that noncommissioned officers who participated in the CAI possess. In the sample studied (N = 102), it was found that the participants remember various characters in a varied way and have a positive or negative assessment of themselves. On the other hand, it was possible to identify correlations between certain restorative emotions with some attitudes towards the culture of peace. Finally, the findings allow us to generate a reflection on how the memories of a violent event such as the Peruvian CAI have been worked on.
