Abstract
A pesar
The present state of the art was carried out with the objective of understanding and describing the different conceptions of inclusive education from the perspective of different authors. It should be noted that throughout history there has been debate about what inclusion implies in an educational environment; therefore, the literature reviewed dates from the last 20 years and emphasizes three perspectives that are more widespread. On the one hand, the one focused on diversity within education, where everyone has the right to receive it and each one will do it in his or her own way because the conditions are different for each person. Likewise, the second perspective is oriented to disability within education, related to Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the disadvantages that this type of attention requires. The third is related to vulnerable groups that seek to receive a quality education but are prevented from doing so by different factors. According to the review, the most prevalent idea is related to disability, which has an impact on the work of teachers. Likewise, the authors point out that there is a differentiated treatment of students according to their condition or how they perceive it, which would imply a greater bias in education, which is why this term is currently frowned upon in institutions, attributing a negative meaning to it. Despite this, there is currently an effort to promote diversity among students and inclusion in the educational environment.
