Abstract
The present research work is based on the interest in knowing what approaches support the educational psychomotor practices with boys and girls of Preschool Education, since it is considered that these favor the development of the various dimensions of the child's life, such as aesthetics, emotional, cognitive and social, achieving their integral development. The objective of the research is to analyze the approaches that support the various educational psychomotor practices in Early Childhood Education. It is a documentary study, as it collects and reflects on a certain object of reality. For the construction of the work, bibliographic sources from Latin America, North America and France, corresponding to the last 20 years, have been consulted. The study has been organized into four thematic nuclei; the first addresses the definition and importance of psychomotor practice in Early Childhood Education; the second seeks to explain the most widely used approaches to the development of the body scheme in early childhood children; the third, provides information on the psychomotor practice of Stokoe and Lora, who base their practices under the focus of corporal expression, which are valid in the Peruvian context; and the last one, addresses the psychomotor practice of Aucouturier that is proposed in the the Children's Curricular Program of Peru. Through this study, Aucouturier's practice is considered one of the most complete for the integral formation of the child, and the importance of teacher training around the teaching and learning of psychomotor practices is mentioned.
