¿Y si solo bailamos?

Abstract

Rosa y Cristhian son dos amigos, cuya pasión por la danza los ha unido y permitido que cada uno conozca al otro de una manera especial. Luego de cinco años, se separan y aunque la amistad es fuerte, el tiempo y la distancia los separa cada vez más. El mediometraje nace a partir de los cambios suscitados por la pandemia y la alteración en las relaciones interpersonales en el mundo entero que ella conlleva. Así, plantea como objetivo principal contar el estado actual sobre la relación entre ambos personajes a través de retratos espontáneos de sus nuevas normalidades como los recuerdos de su pasado juntos. Para ello, se utiliza el recurso de las videocartas, debido a la adaptación de este medio al aspecto espontáneo del proyecto. De esta manera, se busca brindar mayor prioridad al sentimiento de cada videocarta que la calidad del registro de cada una.

Rosa and Cristhian are two friends, whose passion for dance has brought them together and allowed each one to get to know the other in a special way. After five years, they separate and although the friendship is strong, time and distance separate them more and more. The medium-length film was born from the changes caused by the pandemic and the alteration in interpersonal relationships throughout the world that it entails. Thus, the main objective is to tell the current state of the relationship between the two characters through spontaneous portraits of their new normalities such as the memories of their past together. For this, the resource of video letters is used, due to the adaptation of this medium to the spontaneous aspect of the project. In this way, it is sought to give higher priority to the sentiment of each video letter than the quality of the record of each one.
