Género y vínculo psicoterapéutico: Una comprensión desde las configuraciones relacionales en un caso de psicoterapia psicoanalítica breve con una mujer violentada

Abstract

La investigación pretende describir y comprender las configuraciones relacionales basadas en el género que están presentes en el vínculo psicoterapéutico, entre una paciente cisgénero violentada por su pareja heterosexual y un terapeuta hombre cisgénero, en el marco de una intervención de psicoterapia psicoanalítica breve. El material de análisis ha sido las transcripciones de las sesiones, haciendo uso de una metodología cualitativa. Se utilizó el método CCRT-LU-S para la identificación de los Episodios Relacionales y adicionalmente se hizo un análisis temático deductivo para generar temas transversales que componen las configuraciones relacionales. Como hallazgos, se encontró en las interacciones entre la consultante y el terapeuta dos configuraciones relacionales: “Reconocimiento” y “Agencia y Determinación”, en cada una de ellas se describió y analizó cómo se juegan las relaciones de poder basadas en género en ese intercambio. En la Configuración Reconocimiento se observó una necesidad en la consultante de que un otro la reconozca en diferentes facetas, convirtiéndose la figura masculina del terapeuta en un agente de poder que la valida. En la Configuración Agencia y Determinación, se encontró que la consultante necesita que el terapeuta la determine en una serie de aspectos, ya que ella se representa como una mujer sin agencia y éste asume esta demanda representándose como una figura de poder. Ambos participantes, al estar inmersos en una cultura hegemónicamente masculina, incorporan y naturalizan diferentes mandatos que avalan comportamientos y actitudes micromachistas, siendo difícil el cuestionamiento o reflexión en torno a ello.

The research aims to describe and understand the relational configurations based on gender that are present in the psychotherapeutic bond, between a cisgender patient mistreated by her heterosexual partner and a cisgender male therapist, within the framework of a brief psychoanalytic psychotherapy intervention. The analysis material has been the transcripts of the sessions, using a qualitative methodology. The CCRT-LU-S method was used to identify the Relational Episodes and, in addition, a deductive thematic analysis was carried out to generate cross-cutting themes that make up the relational configurations. As findings, two relational configurations were found in the interactions between the consultant and the therapist: "Recognition" and "Agency and Determination", in each of them it was described and analyzed how power relations based on gender are played in that exchange. In the Recognition Configuration, a need was observed in the consultant for someone else to recognize her in different facets, turning the male figure of the therapist into an agent of power that validates her. In the Agency and Determination Configuration, it was found that the consultant needs the therapist to determine her in a series of aspects, since she represents herself as a woman without agency and he assumes this demand by representing himself as a figure of power. Both participants, being immersed in a hegemonically masculine culture, incorporate and naturaliza different mandates that endorse micromachist behaviors and attitudes, making it difficult to question or reflect on it.
