Efectos de la calidad regulatoria en la inversión en el mercado de Internet fijo durante el periodo 2010-2019

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación que existe entre la inversión privada y la regulación en el mercado de Internet Fijo en el Perú, también se analiza la evolución que tuvo el sector telecomunicaciones y cómo las condiciones actuales de este mercado afectan a la inversión privada. Se hace una revisión de la teoría de la inversión y de estudios empíricos que analizan la relación entre inversión y telecomunicaciones para poder así determinar las variables relevantes para la inversión y posteriormente analizar que tanto influye la inversión en la regulación. Una vez obtenidas las posibles variables relevantes se realiza un análisis bivariado de estas para poder así determinar su relevancia, posteriormente se realiza un análisis econométrico de datos de panel para corroborar la hipótesis de que la regulación afecta negativamente a la inversión.

The objective of this research work is to analyze the relation between private investment and regulation in the Peruvian fixed Internet market. This research work also analyzes the evolution of the telecom sector and how the present conditions of this market affect private investment. A revision of theory of investment and empirical studies that analyze the relation between investment and telecommunications will be carried out to determine the variables relevant to this research work. Once the relevant variables are obtained a bivariate analysis will be carried out to determine how relevant these variables are. An econometrical panel data analysis is done to determine how much does regulation affect investment.
