El propósito de este estudio es analizar el efecto que tienen los ejercicios de tracto vocal semi ocluido, utilizando tubos de resonancia, para mejorar los parámetros acústicos de estudiantes de canto popular. En este sentido, el uso de tubos de resonancia para incrementar la interacción fuente/filtro a través de los
ejercicios de tracto vocal semi ocluido, producen efectos fisiológicos y acústicos que refuerzan la vibración de los pliegues vocales. Estas técnicas han sido ampliamente utilizadas para el entrenamiento vocal.
Para ello, se eligió una muestra de 30 estudiantes de canto popular que fueron evaluados a través de una encuesta de condición vocal, una evaluación perceptivo auditiva y finalmente con el software PRAAT. Se concluye que los parámetros acústicos de frecuencia, intensidad, índice de coaptación glótica y
tiempo máximo de fonación se incrementan a mayor exposición al programa de ejercicios de tracto vocal semi ocluido
