Rol mediador del sistema de memoria transactiva entre transferencia de conocimiento y orientación emprendedora

Abstract

Esta investigación analiza el rol mediador que ejerce el sistema de memoria transactiva entre la transferencia de conocimiento y la orientación emprendedora de las MIPYMES ecuatorianas de manufactura. Pretende explicar las relaciones que existen entre la transferencia de conocimiento y el sistema de memoria transactiva; entre el sistema de memoria transactiva y la orientación emprendedora y en qué medida influye la transferencia de conocimiento en la orientación emprendedora de las MIPYMES que han recibido conocimiento externo a través de servicios de consultoría con el fin de alcanzar niveles de modernidad y supervivencia en el entorno dinámico, global y muy competitivo en el que se desenvuelven actualmente. Utiliza un enfoque cuantitativo a través del sistema de ecuaciones estructurales estimadas a través de la función de máxima verosimilitud para una muestra de 206 empresas del sector manufacturero ecuatoriano. Los resultados explican que existe una mediación total del sistema de memoria transactiva debido a que la transferencia de conocimiento sólo ejerce influencia en la orientación emprendedora de las MIPYMES a través del sistema de memoria transactiva. Los hallazgos indican que existe una relación positiva entre la transferencia de conocimiento y el sistema de memoria transactiva de las MIPYMES, que existe una relación positiva entre el sistema de memoria transactiva y la orientación emprendedora de las MIPYMES y que la transferencia de conocimiento afecta de forma positiva pero no significativa a la orientación emprendedora.

This research analyzes the mediating role that the transactional memory system exerts between the transfer of knowledge and the entrepreneurial orientation of manufacturing SMEs from Ecuador. It aims to explain the relationships between: (a) the transfer of knowledge and the transactional memory system, (b) between the transactional memory system and the entrepreneurial orientation, and (c) to what extent the transfer of knowledge influences the entrepreneurial orientation of manufacturing SMEs that have received some sort of knowledge through consulting services to modernize its operations. The methodology used had a quantitative approach through the system of estimated structural equations through the maximum likelihood function for a sample of 206 companies in the Ecuadorian manufacturing sector. The results indicate that there is a total mediation of the transactional memory system; meaning, the transfer of knowledge only influences the entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs through the transactional memory system. Findings, suggest that there are three main positive relationships given in the following order: a positive relationship between the transfer of knowledge and the transactional memory system of SMEs, a positive relationship between the transactional memory system and the entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs, and the transfer of knowledge positively affects entrepreneurial orientation, though this last relation could not be proved significant.
