In the present study we try to see the relation of Social Dominance (SDO), the perception of a transgressor normative system and political cynicism in the levels and the valuation of national identity of the individuals. The test was realized in subjects belonging to the high middle class living in the city of Lima (N=156). For the results there were performed the analysis of Pearson's correlation and comparisons of means. The findings showed, on one side, low SDO levels in the sample, but for the other side, were found high levels in the mean of both the perception of a normative transgressor system and the political cynicism. It was observed that both, the national identity and his valuation do not have any relation with SDO's levels in the subjects, neither with the variables that measures the perception of a transgressor normative system. However, they found that the perception of the normative transgressor system hasa inverse relation with the stereotype of Peruvian “Moral”. Thus, it was concluded that despite being aware the Peruvians of live in a society where the rules are violated and where exist a political and social inequality, the levels of the national identity are not affected The self perception as slightly moral person is a characteristic that does not affect, since they see this feature necessary to be able to fight with a corrupt state. Therefore, the identity of the Peruvian remains positive since it is formed by circumstantial factors that make it remains positive....

(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2016-11)

The environmental contamination has turned into last years in one of the biggest worries of the world population. In this sense, the cement sector is one of the biggest pollutant of the environment, being responsible for the generation of about 5 % of the emission of CO2 in the world. Another important aspect is that there are not investigations in Peru referred to the eco-efficient management that cement plants perform, if it is that they realize it. In this sense, the present investigation has to know for an object the state of the management ecoefficient two plants of the cement sector in Peru, with reference to 2015. In the country three big holdings exist in the cement sector and, for this work, the investigation limited to two of those plants that provided information. After reviewing the characteristics of the investigation, a quantitative and descriptive scope was defined, using the Guía de ecoeficiencia para empresas published for Ministerio del Ambiente del Perú (2009). This guide has been validated by national and international institutions that guarantee its application in the sector. The analysis of the information allowed to know that cement plants, the subject of this investigation, conducted itself an eco-efficient management in 2015; however, with a limited access to the current legal requirements in the country, existing still a breach between the local activities and the international. The reason in many cases owes to the absence of return of the investment that is realized, that is to say, it is invested in management ecoefficient if it provided any profit for the company. Cement plants in Peru are regulated by very strict confidentiality policy and therefore the information is reserved. In summary, by 2015 the two cement plants subject of this investigation, made more eco-efficient management relating to the construction and maintenance of buildings, complying with on average 97% of good practices. The opposite happened in the case of energy, where the percentage of compliance of good practice reaches on average 84%, with 16% pending to implement. In the case of activities with greater environmental impact and consumption of resources, the production of raw flour and clínker represents on average 20% of the environmental impacts generated by the plants...

This investigation comes out from the need to adapt the academic records and to have clear procedures of admission, registration, accreditation and titles and degrees of students who want to obtain dual and joint degrees and titles at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. A dual degree or title is a study modality which allows students to obtain two university degrees or two professional titles following just one curriculum due to the fact that the study plans of both universities have been made compatible. This is possible because common subjects have been validated. On the other hand a joint degree is a modality in which two or more universities offer a shared study plan, each one offers its own courses and in the end only one title is handed. That’s why, the peculiarities of these joint and dual degrees of the PUCP with other Peruvian and foreign universities are necessary to be described. A proposal of registration data (admission, registration, degrees and titles) has to be designed as well, and included in the current informatics systems of the PUCP. This will let identify and detect that such joint and dual degrees have been taken and which universities are involved in the process. Finally, to prepare a proposal of procedures, considering the current agreements which allow standardize the admission, registration and degrees and titles of those students which follow these dual and joint degrees and titles require. As part of the methodology, several interviews were carried out with internal and, external agents from academic and administrative areas from PUCP, who are directly involved within the admission processes, registration, accreditation and degrees and titles. Also the main organizational agents with influence in the implementation of changes for the improvement were considered to be interviewed. It was found as a result that the definition of concepts of joint titles and dual degrees and titles are not clearly specified in the available literature about that matter. Another finding was that the data base of PUCP and the regulation of “Registro Nacional de Grados Académicos y Títulos Profesionales of Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior (SUNEDU), do not recognize the possibility to register those students who have a joint degree or dual degree. It is also important to mention, that there are not clear defined protocols to register the academic situation of those students who follow a program of dual accreditation abroad. The same situation occurs in the case of those students who come from abroad to follow those study modalities. The university does not have an international office which regulates the legislations, procedures and registration of such modalities, which promotes the exchange of information in this matter, which provides technical-legal counselling to the offices involved, that brings solutions to the discrepancies and which encourages the use of information technologies and internet, as tools to register, access and usage of the information regarding joint and dual degrees and titles. The success of this proposal demands the joint and coordinated work of the units mentioned along this research: La Dirección Académica de Relaciones Institucionales (DARI), la Secretaría General (SG), la Oficina de Convenios (OC), la Oficina Central de Registro (OCR), La Dirección de Tecnologías de la Información (DTI) y las Unidades Académicas (UA)....
