El papel de la escena teatral del renacimiento afroperuano en la reconstrucción y reconexión de la negritud y diáspora africana colectiva de los pueblos afroperuanos en la Lima de mediados del siglo XX

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como propósito demostrar que la escena teatral del renacimiento afroperuano aporta en la reconstrucción y reconexión de la negritud y la diáspora africana colectiva de los pueblos afroperuanos en la Lima de mediados del siglo XX a partir de la memoria ancestral y la oralidad del discurso. Hay que señalar que, desde el colonialismo, los afrodescendientes no tuvieron las condiciones óptimas para valorizar y reproducir su cultura en el Perú. Así, el movimiento del renacimiento afroperuano permitió una mayor valorización de la cultura negra. Sin embargo, conforme el movimiento va desarrollándose, la cultura del negro peruano es apropiada y cuestionada. Este trabajo analiza, primero, el surgimiento de la escena teatral del renacimiento afroperuano y sus componentes, y su relación en la reconstrucción y reconexión de la negritud y la diáspora africana. Posteriormente, se analiza cómo a través de la memoria colectiva y la oralidad del discurso de la escena teatral del renacimiento afroperuano se logra reconstruir y reconectar con la negritud y la diáspora africana. Para tal fin se ha hecho una búsqueda bibliográfica de publicaciones sobre el tema. En este sentido, las investigaciones de Feldman, Aguirre, De Swanson, Assmann y Czaplicka, entre otros, han sido fundamentales.

The purpose of this research is to demonstrate that the theatrical scene of the Afro-Peruvian renaissance contributes to the reconstruction and reconnection of negritude and the collective African diaspora of Afro-Peruvian peoples in Lima in the mid-twentieth century through collective memory and oral discourse. It should be noted that, since colonialism, Afrodescendants did not have the optimal conditions to valorize and reproduce their culture in Peru. Thus, the Afro-Peruvian renaissance movement allowed a greater valorization of black culture. However, as the movement developed, black Peruvian culture was appropriated and questioned. This paper first analyzes the emergence of the Afro-Peruvian renaissance theater scene and its components, and its relationship to the reconstruction and reconnection of blackness and the African diaspora. Subsequently, it is analyzed how through the collective memory and the orality of the discourse of the theatrical scene of the Afro-Peruvian renaissance it is possible to reconstruct and reconnect with negritude and the African Diaspora. To this end, a bibliographic search of publications on the subject has been carried out. In this sense, the researches of Feldman, Aguirre, De Swanson, Assmann and Czaplicka, among others, have been fundamental.
