Análisis y comparación de presiones admisibles propuestas en las normas peruanas E-060, E-030, E-050 y normas de cimentaciones chilena, mexicana y española

Los profesionales responsables de redactar, revisar y publicar cada norma, no suelen ser
partícipes en la elaboración de otras normas; ya sea porque se trate de un área o especialidad
distinta o porque simplemente se eligieron otros expertos en el ámbito. Lo anterior se puede ver
reflejado en diferencias o variaciones de algunos términos y consideraciones en las Normas
E.030 “Diseño Sismorresistente”, E.050 “Suelos y Cimentaciones” y E.060 “Concreto
Armado”, y su aplicación en la construcción de proyectos. Por ejemplo, para la Norma E.060,
se puede incrementar en un 30% la presión admisible del suelo; mientras que la Norma E.050
no hace ningún tipo de referencia a un incremento de dicho parámetro. El término de presión
admisible de un suelo es de suma importancia puesto que se ve mencionado en tres normas del
Reglamento Nacional de Edificaciones (RNE). Asimismo, es utilizado por diferentes expertos,
sean de distintas especialidades o no, pues involucra parte importante del diseño total de una
edificación. Por dicho motivo, además de la importancia de conocer las distinciones, surge la
necesidad de compatibilizar conceptos referidos a presiones admisibles entre las distintas
normas. El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación es recopilar términos relacionados
a las presiones admisibles para su posterior comparación entre las Normas E.030, E.050 y
E.060. Esto se realizará mediante la revisión de las distintas normas anteriormente
mencionadas. Asimismo, se revisarán otras normas internacionales como la Norma chilena,
Norma mexicana y Norma española con el fin de contrastar la terminología referida a presiones
admisibles y, a partir de ello, presentar una propuesta que logre uniformizar conceptos.
