El populismo radical de los andes: el etnocacerismo como amenaza a la democracia peruana
Abstract
En estos últimos años, la democracia, en términos generales, se ha visto amenazada
por la llegada de distintos grupos que pregonan ideas radicales y populistas con miras
a obtener el voto popular. Casos como los de Trump en EE.UU, Meloni en Italia, Orbán
en Hungría, Bukele en El Salvador y Bolsonaro en Brasil demuestran que este
discurso tiene una enorme acogida. Pero, ¿Qué hay del caso peruano? En el país
andino, el modelo democrático ha evidenciado encontrarse en una profunda crisis.
Ello debido al constante conflicto entre los diversos poderes del Estado, la
precariedad institucional y la corrupción, así como el aumento o la irrupción de otras
problemáticas y retos como la delincuencia o la inmigración. En este contexto hay un
discurso que ha estado ganándose a pulso el apoyo de diversos sectores de la
ciudadanía, sobre todo en el sur del país. Este es el discurso etnocacerista, el cual
posee características autoritarias y marxistas, pero que no ha sido analizado tan a
profundidad. Por ello, es que el motivo de este trabajo será analizar y entender cuáles
son sus características para así poder determinar qué tan riesgoso puede resultar
para la endeble democracia peruana.
