In Metropolitan Lima, a considerable proportion of mothers aged 30 to 55 suffer from chronic sleep deprivation due to an overload of work, domestic, and family responsibilities. This situation, which has been socially normalized, directly impacts their physical, mental, and emotional health, reducing both their productivity and quality of life. In response to this issue, Descanzia emerges as an innovative proposal aimed at improving the quality of rest through a holistic approach that combines personalized professional guidance, technological tools, and continuous support. The project's main objective is to develop a sustainable business model offering personalized, accessible, and scalable rest plans focused on the holistic well-being of working mothers. To achieve this, agile user-centric research methodologies were applied—including interviews, customer journey maps, and ideation canvases—allowing for the identification of needs, emotions, and barriers associated with rest. Based on these findings, a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was designed consisting of a multichannel digital platform offering two subscription plans (Basic and Plus), educational workshops, psychological counseling, and sensory content to promote healthy sleep habits. The business model was structured using the Business Model Canvas, incorporating complementary revenue streams such as the sale of natural products, thereby ensuring economic viability and geographic scalability to cities like Arequipa. The financial analysis demonstrates the project's profitability, with an initial investment of S/ 106,000, a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 11.9 million, and a Shareholder Opportunity Cost of 17.15%. Descanzia represents a solution aligned with Sustainable Development Goal No. 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by democratizing access to treatments and counseling that improve sleep quality and reduce stress. Its innovative and disruptive nature lies in integrating emotional health, technology, and sensory experiences into a single proposal, breaking away from traditional clinical care models. In summary, Descanzia seeks not only to resolve the issue of rest but to redefine well-being as an accessible, personalized, and sustainable right for Peruvian women.
