Abstract
El objetivo del estudio radica en conocer cuán significativa es la relación entre los niveles
de memoria auditiva inmediata y los procesos de comprensión lectora, siendo estas dos
variables importantes para que el estudiante logré decodificar la información teniendo en
cuenta diversos procesos que lo ayuden a comprender de manera explícita y eficaz lo que
lee, para ello, el presente estudio relaciona principalmente los niveles de memoria
auditiva inmediata: lógica, numérica y asociativa con los procesos de comprensión
lectora: perceptivo, léxico, sintáctico y semántico. Para la muestra del estudio, 67
estudiantes del Colegio Nacional Mixto “Alberto Ribera y Piérola N° 1189 - Marca Perú”
– Chaclacayo, fueron seleccionados mediante diseño no probabilístico intencional; los
cuales fueron valorados con las pruebas MAI y PROLEC R, que fueron adaptadas bajo
los estándares de Lima Metropolitana. Finalmente, los resultados evidenciaron que la
relación establecida entre ambas variables resultó estadísticamente significativa en el
aspecto numérico en relación con los procesos de la comprensión lectora. Por otra parte,
no se evidenció resultados significativos en los aspectos lógicos y asociativos en relación
con los procesos de la comprensión lectora. Estos resultados permitirán que otros
investigadores a futuro amplíen el campo de estudio teniendo como referencia la presente
investigación.
The main objective of our this study is to find out how significant the relationships between immediate auditory memory and reading comprehension processes can be, for which both variables are linked in: the levels of immediate auditory memory (logical, numeric and associative memory) and the reading comprehension processes (perceptual, lexicon, syntactic and semantic process). These two variables are important for the student to decode the information taking into account various processes that help him to understand explicitly and effectively what he reads. The students in the sample were selected by The Transversal Descriptive Design - Correlational, consisting of 67 students of the Joint Public School "Alberto Ribera and Pierola N ° 1189 - Brand Peru", Chaclacayo. The students were evaluated with The Immediate Auditory Memory Test - MAI and Assessment Battery of the Reading Process, revised PROLEC - R, both adapted to Lima. On the other hand, there is no evidence of the results were straightforward in the logical and associative aspects in relation to the reading comprehension processes. These results allow other future researchers to expand the field of study with reference to the current investigation.
